Ekotrope named as a finalist for 2013 Innovative Technology of the Year Award, Energy, by the Mass Technology Leadership Council

The finalists were selected from almost 300 submissions and were announced in front of more than 200 tech executives at the Microsoft NERD Center in Cambridge, MA on Thursday July 18, 2013. The Massachusetts Technology Leadership Awards, which have been running for 16 years, celebrate innovation and leadership in technology. The awards winners for 17 categories, will be announced at the annual Awards Gala on Thursday, September 12 at the Westin, Waterfront.Ekotrope’s software suite was developed at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and allows developers, builders and design-build firms to analyze energy-efficient and cost-effective configurations for different building envelopes, heating and cooling systems.
