Math equations for number boxes

To help you calculate inputs more efficiently, you can now enter math equations into any number input box that accepts decimals. For example, try typing “1000*3” in Conditioned Floor Area and hit “Tab”.

Appliance Unit Updates

Ekotrope has converted our inputs for Clothes Dryer Energy Factor (EF) and Clothes Washer Modified Energy Factor (MEF) to the new metrics that are used for rating appliances: Dryer Combined Energy Factor (CEF) and Washer Integrated Modified Energy Factor (IMEF). This should make it easier for raters to input appliance data without doing conversions on-the-fly.
