Ekotrope presents at BBRS Public Hearing on IECC 2012

At the most recent Board of Building Regulations and Standards (BBRS) Public Hearing on May 15, 2013, Cy Kilbourn, Head of Engineering at Ekotrope, presented a study on the incremental costs and energy benefits of current MA Energy Codes and Proposed MA Energy Code changes, including the IECC 2012. The study was commissioned by the Home Builders Association of Massachusetts (HBAM).

BBRS - The BBRS is an 11-member board which derives its authority to adopt regulations, administer provisions of the state building code and operate various construction related programs from Massachusetts General LawsHBAM - Association of builders in MA with the objective to improve and maintain a positive image of the building industry and to represent the interests of the affiliated associations by maintaining constructive involvement in government and regulatory affairs in order to meet the housing needs of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and its residents.
